Foundation for the Advancement of Municipal Engineering (FAME)
The Foundation is a non-profit entity, which provides and administers funds for the purpose of furthering public works engineering.
The funds may be used:
to enable any

IPWEA member to undertake study and research in Australia and overseas which will benefit. The outcomes of any funded research or study may be made available to all members.

to enable invited guests from around Australia to present at conferences and workshops on specialised topics.

to fund awards annually to civil engineering students who excel in nominated subjects of their university undergraduate course.
It is managed by a Board of Governors elected by IPWEA members, and financial members of IPWEA are automatically members of FAME.
