Membership
The purpose of the IPWEA is to provide member services and advocacy
for persons involved in and delivering public works and
services. Membership of IPWEA (Tas) is open to all practitioners in
the local government and public works industry and is based on what a
person does in their job rather than their engineering qualifications or
position in the organisation. If you work for a Council,
Consultant, Contractor, or industry supplier you are eligible to join
IPWEA (Tas) and contribute to its development.
Benefits of membership include the
following:
Networking with your colleagues at events,
development programs and seminars, and at the State and National
Conference.
- Information provided through the “Public
Works Engineering Australia” bi-monthly journal and the Tasmania
Division newsletter.
- Involvement in committees on particular topics to
respond to technical issues.
- Continuing Professional Development through
Training Programs, Seminars and Conferences, by presentation of papers,
and attendance at workshops sessions and exhibitions.
- Access to study tours and scholarships through
the Public Works Engineering Foundation
We welcome your enquiry and look forward to receiving your membership application and meeting you in the
future. Annual Membership is $160. Please
don’t hesitate to contact us should you have any queries or
require further information.
