The 2010 IPWEA NSW Division annual conference provides an excellent
opportunity for papers to be presented on a diverse range of technical
and management issues that impact on public works professionals.
Members, regional groups, contractors and government organisations are
particularly encouraged to participate. It is an opportunity to
share your expertise and experience for the benefit of conference
attendees, those involved in public works and services delivery and the
local government industry.
The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia NSW Conference will
revolve around the theme ‘Enhancing Skills, Empowering
Communities’. This important conference will recognise the issues
of
developing, building and retaining skills and staff within the workforce
and the need to focus and cultivate ongoing consultation and
communication with our local communities, as well as further expand on
topics such as Management of the Environmental and Sustainability.
The conference venue for 2010 will be the Novotel Hotel in Wollongong
starting on Sunday 16th May through to Wednesday 19th May 2010.
2010 will see the return of the popular NSW Roads Congress and
the Road Safety Officers Forum, a full and informative program is
ensured for all those involved with or supplying to Public Works,
Infrastructure and Engineering.
